Fire Wardens / Marshalls have an important role as part of an organization's Fire safety management system. They are the first line of defence against the risk of fire.Working with management they are responsible for a variety of tasks for fire safety to ensure that premises and their occupants are safe from fire. The Fire Warden / Marshall's primary role is to manage the safe evacuation of personnel in a fire emergency.
Personnel who have been designated Fire Warden / Marshal's must have the appropriate training, knowledge and practical skills to carry out this role effectively and assist organizations to meet their legal obligations under the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order 2005.
